Kittitas County Television District One captures and re-broadcasts over the air commercial television by use of antenna and transmitter’s on Umtanum Ridge (upward bound signal is captured and rebroadcast on a downward slant); why, because Kittitas county is in a bowl (high ridges and hills all around us) TV signal follows terrain therefore the signal cannot reach the valley floor without use of our transmitters.
